Freetail Brewing-

Freetail Brewing has chosen Bat Conservation International (BCI) as their charity partner for the Freetail Brewing 5k Beer Run.

logo-bigBCI is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the world’s more than 1330 known species of bats. They are the world leader in defending bats and the habitats they serve, working throughout North and South America, Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

BCI combines education and outreach with scientific research and direct conservation action to win protection for key bat populations and the places they live. We transform public attitudes towards bats by dispelling harmful myths that threaten their survival. We are committed to establishing self-sustaining conservation efforts around the world to secure a brighter future for bats.

BCI is proud to protect Bracken Cave, the world’s largest bat colony, located just outside San Antonio.

Guadalupe Brewing-

Guadalupe Brewing has chosen the Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption (SARA) as their charity partner for the Guadalupe Brewing 5k Beer Run.

SARA’s mission is to help any animal that comes to us regardless of species, special health needs, or temperament.  As a no-kill sanctuary, no animal is ever killed for convenience.  Euthanasia is only employed in the true sense of the word: when an animal is suffering with no chance of recovery.

Nestled in the beautiful green pastures and wooded scrub brush of picturesque Guadalupe County, Society for Animal Rescue & Adoption, or SARA, is home to nearly 750 rescued animals of all kinds.  Created in March of 1996, SARA is celebrating 20 years of hard work, rescue, and dedication to those who have no voice of their own.

Visitors are welcome by appointment.  Please contact us to schedule a time to come out and share a wonderful experience you’re not likely to forget.
